Online Workshop: Exploring Collage
Tue 2 Mar – Tue 30 Mar, 6.30-7.30pm (every Tuesday in March), WeeklyFully booked
Join us from the familiarity of your own home as we explore ideas in the current exhibitions (Grace Before Jones: Camera, Disco, Studio and Jimmy Robert: Akimbo) together through collage by folding, cutting, layering and ‘mark making’ ("using different lines, dots, marks, patterns, and textures"). Sessions involve experimentation and conversation and are a great way to discover our exhibitions, get inspired and develop creative skills whether you're brand new to the gallery or a regular visitor.
Workshops open to all adults (18+) though specifically tailored for people aged 55 years and over.
All levels of experience welcome; you are not required to have seen the exhibition/visited the gallery.
Art materials will be provided delivered by post.
We encourage you to join all 4 weekly workshops though it's not compulsory.
Workshops held virtually on Zoom (we will be offering tech support sessions by phone for participants unfamiliar with Zoom).
New lower price:
£6* per session or just £20* for all four workshops (*plus fees. Taster session free of charge)
