Word Walk with Nottingham Poetry Festival
Our surroundings are filled with poems. What can you see, smell or hear?...Write, scribble and explore the world around you.
Join Nottingham Poetry Festival with Caroline Stancer on a Word Walk around Nottingham Contemporary's galleries to unearth, interrogate and create writings. This series of workshops is inspired by local places, hosted by local writers in cherished Nottingham locations. You'll be invited to respond to your environment by scribbling and chatting with guidance from professional poets.
Following each Word Walk, the festival will gather participants' creative work to create a series of zines to be launched at Nottingham Poetry Festival on Saturday 7 May 2022.
