What Lies Beneath: Immersive Technologies Event
Thu 19 Jan, 5.30pm–7.30pmExperience the secret histories of Nottingham caves through cutting edge immersive technologies. In this interactive showcase of augmented and virtual reality techniques by researchers at the University of Nottingham you will encounter the extraordinary hidden world beneath the city. We invite everyone to engage with the caves and to learn more about their history and preservation, and help us develop new ideas for sharing this hidden heritage. As Nottingham prepares for a major redevelopment of the Broad Marsh, this event will explore how the past can shape our visions of the future and the cultural identity of our city using innovative digital technologies.

We welcome anyone age 14 and over to participate in this event.
We are unable to provide British Sign Language interpretation for this event.
