Circuit: Affinity
Collabor-8 Collective are excited to host Circuit: Affinity, a free festival of art, workshops, music, film and performance from emerging local and international talent this November! Music will span grime, hip hop, R 'n' B, indie and include live performances from critically acclaimed artists including MOBO nominated Lady Leshurr, Nashville alt-rockers Bully, BBC Radio 1Xtra DJ Jamz Supernova and Harleighblu amongst loads more!
The whole gallery and its surrounding areas will be home to pop-up performances by young creative artists including The Mouthy Poets, and the 2015 Nottingham Young Creatives Award winner Jamal Sterrett. There will be chill-out spaces and open mic sessions to carry the festival into the early hours. Film screenings will take place throughout the festival, including Guillemot, a film made by young people in St Anns with Full Effect, a Royal Foundation project. The event will also include drop in free VJ workshops and UV jewellery making.
