BSL Exhibition Tour with Martin Glover
Wed 26 Mar, 1pm–2pmJoin us for a Wednesday Walkthrough – a gallery tour where artists, experts, researchers and academics give short talks in their field of expertise relating to the concepts explored in our current exhibition. This season, we are presenting the first major exhibition of artist Daniel Lind- Ramos (b. 1953, Puerto Rico) in a European institution, showcasing five of the artists’ monumental sculptural assemblages, including a newly commissioned work. The power of memory and storytelling is central to Lind-Ramos’ work. He creates evocative sculptural assemblages that reflect Puerto Rican historical and contemporary experiences, imbued with the storytelling traditions of his Afro-descendent history and inviting reflections on sustenance and the regenerative power of community.
In this walkthrough, Martin Glover, a Deaf BSL user, an architect and art facilitator will deliver an exhibition tour.
This exhibition tour is designed for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community and Martin will deliver the tour in British Sign Language. Please note there will be no voiceover interpretation.
