Explore Future Technologies and enhance your creative practice by learning how to animate using easy and intuitive tools in this workshop lead by Broadway’s Near Now Studio member and artist Trevor Woolery.

Using Tagtool, an app that enables the creation of animations right at your fingertips, we’ll be making our own live animated visuals to accompany music and performance. Tagtool allows for iPads to be networked together, enabling easy collaboration between artists, supporting our collective desires to experiment and collaborate with fellow artists.

Trevor Woolery is a Nottingham-based artist specialising in animation that is bold, bright and makes a difference. He’s been teaching animation at Universities for many years and is the founder of Create Animate Ltd, a company that creates animated films with communities that make a difference: “We believe that creativity is an essential part of maintaining a full rewarding and well-balanced life and have seen first-hand how its impact can improve our wellbeing and mental health.”

Near Now is Broadway’s studio for arts, design and innovation. The Near Now Studio is a creative community supporting artists to use technology in their practice, test new ideas and explore new collaborations.
