10th Birthday Party

Join us to celebrate ten years of Nottingham Contemporary, with a vibrant family-friendly day of activities.

10am – 6pm
Play with our colourful interactive musical sculpture. The Illumaphonium responds to your touch and creates an ever-changing pattern of light and sound.

Family Activities & Face Painting
Explore sound and colour and make your own artworks together as a family. Then turn yourself into a work of art with our face painting, inspired by the weird and wonderful costumes of the Bauhaus.

Look out for the imaginative creations of recent Nottingham Trent University graduates - Rose Jennings, Jenny McInally, Luciane Humblot and Sophie Brown. Photographs by Crash Taylor Photography.
