Illumaphonium
Play with our colourful interactive musical sculpture. The Illumaphonium responds to your touch and creates an ever-changing pattern of light and sound.
11am-3pm
Family Activities & Face Painting
Explore sound and colour and make your own artworks together as a family. Then turn yourself into a work of art with our face painting, inspired by the weird and wonderful costumes of the Bauhaus.

Costumes
Look out for the imaginative creations of recent Nottingham Trent University graduates - Rose Jennings, Jenny McInally, Luciane Humblot and Sophie Brown. Photographs by Crash Taylor Photography.

Metallic Band Performance by Edna G Olds School
Hear percussion music made from all sorts of metal items. Year 5 students at Edna G Olds school have been working with our Associate Artist, Chris Lewis-Jones to create this unique musical piece.
1-3pm: 1525 Tarot Card Making Workshop: Young Humans of Nottingham
3-5pm: 1525 Tarot Readings
Illustrate your own tarot cards based on Nottingham and Nottingham Contemporary, with artists Kim Thompson and Arit Etukudo. Open to 15-25 year olds. Please book.
11.30am-12.30pm – Talk with Cedric Fauq (Curator)
1–2pm – Talk with Carolina Rito (Head of Public Programmes and Research)
2.30–3.30pm – Talk with Olivia Aherne (Assistant Curator)

Cake Cutting
Join us for a slice of cake, and hear from our director, Sam Thorne. Our cake is inspired by an iconic artwork we’ve exhibited, and tastes delicious.
5.30pm onwards
Live Music
A line-up of local music acts including Clyde Scothern, Esther Van Leuven, Chai 6ix Band, Tesla’s Kiss and headlined by Jimi and the Strangers, who will be performing their jig-inducing, toe-tapping melodic bluesy alternative rock.
