What influences did you draw on for this project?

Façade No.10 by Designer Ron Gilad, was an influence in my thoughts about geometry and lines.

Did you try new approaches for this exhibition that led to new discoveries?

Using light as a means of directing people is a new design approach that I have used for the first time.

How does your work for Portalis relate to your past work?

I have always been interested in exploring how design can be ephemeral and temporary as a reminder of mortality and the exhibition design begins to examine that.

Will this project influence some aspect of your future practice? If so, what and how?

Yes, working on Portalis and using fabric as a physical barrier was a new approach and material, and I plan on taking that further.
