Performance: Curating Sound
Sound - composed of archive samples and field recordings shifting their arrangement according to an automated programme - builds a transformative presence through Farmer’s LET'S MAKE THE WATER TURN BLACK. Curating Sound combines discussion and off-site performance to address sound within and beyond gallery space and in relation to a resurgent interest in curating durational sound-works.
A live acoustic performance by musicians John Butcher, Jack Harris, and Rebecca Lee responds to the unusual architecture of the Park Tunnel.
