Nottingham Contemporary is thrilled to have been chosen to participate in the Bloomberg Philanthropies Digital Accelerator Program. We are part of a new cohort of 200 diverse organisations across the UK and USA in this initiative that helps arts and cultural organisations to strengthen technology to improve operations, increase fundraising, drive revenue, build and engage broader audiences, and deliver dynamic programming.

Through the programme, and with support from Bloomberg Philanthropies, we will develop and implement a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system that will grow and strengthen relations with all our stakeholders, including visitors, donors, funders, community and education partners and artists. It will also help us to generate more income and improve our administrative efficiency. Our participation in the programme and the implementation of this technology will help our team to work more effectively in support of our strategic aims and objectives.

Since 2021, Bloomberg Philanthropies has invested $128 million in the Digital Accelerator Program to support nearly 350 cultural institutions in the UK and USA. To date, the 40 institutions that were part of the first cohort cumulatively grew an additional $20 million in new revenue including through fundraising, reached over 1 million new audience members, and engaged more than 4,000 new artists and partners.

We are excited to be part of the programme, and to monitor and report back on the positive impact of this project over the coming years.
