Nottingham Trent University students have worked with Nottingham Contemporary, to produce a new publication - This is Our Response, Issue 3, which was launched with a celebratory event at Nottingham Contemporary Café on Thursday 20th February.

Since Autumn 2019 students from a range of disciplines and degrees at Nottingham Trent University worked as an editorial team to design and produce issue three of Response. Students were selected for a Response Placement from the schools of Art and Design, Arts and Humanities and Social Sciences to collectively respond to Nottingham Contemporary’s exhibition Undead: Pop Culture In Britain Beyond the Bauhaus and Campus, an independent study programme exploring alternative education models.

The group from across a wide range of years, courses and departments collaborated to research and produce original text and images, designing and curating their response to the exhibitions and activities at Nottingham Contemporary. The publication includes interviews and photoshoots with local creatives and academics, reflective essays, original poetry, illustrations and offers a unique reflection of the range of programmes on offer at Nottingham Contemporary.
