We are excited to return with our popular Festive Craft Fair at Nottingham Contemporary, taking place across the weekend of 6 & 7 Dec, with a Launch Evening on Fri 5 Dec. Held in our large performance Space, our Craft Fair will showcase over 40 stalls.

Nottingham Contemporary are well established for our successful fairs, attracting visitors from Nottingham and beyond. This festive fair is one of our biggest events of the year with visitors returning year on year. The Craft Fair will showcase a range of different specialisms including textiles, print, jewellery, ceramics, homeware, stationery, food & drink and more. We attract a wide variety of talented makers from the East Midlands as well as many brilliant designers from across the country.

Application requirements:

We are looking for independent designers, makers and small businesses across a broad selection of disciplines with a focus on quality and original design.

Stall cost - £210 (inclusive of all three days)

All prices are inclusive of VAT and are for the full weekend, including the Launch evening on Fri 5 Dec (5pm-8pm) and two full days on Sat 6 Dec (10am-6pm) and Sun 7 Dec (11am-4pm).

Set up will be from 9am on the Friday. Take down will be from 4pm the Sunday.

Included in the cost:

• Trestle table approx 182x68 cm, white tablecloth and two chairs (optional)

• Marketing via social media to our wide audience

• Paid social media advertising

• Printed flyers (+5000) and posters distributed around Nottingham

• Hand to hand flyer distribution during the weekend of the event

• Public Craft Fair Launch Evening on Fri 5 Dec (an evening with a DJ or live music, a workshop + free drinks to the first 100 visitors)

• Mail outs to our wide audience and details across our website

• Our galleries will also be open and are a popular attraction in Nottingham City Centre

• 10% discount in our gallery shop

• Team to assist set up / take down

• Free tea and coffee on Sat & Sun

• Free Entry for all visitors to Craft Fair Contemporary

• Submit a completed application form, via Google Forms by clicking this link. If you have any difficulty completing the form please contact craft@nottinghamcontemporary.org

• In the application form, you must include 5 high-res images of your work, including one of a previous stall set up. Please note – these images will be used for the promotion of the Craft Fair so choose images that best represent the work you would bring.

Applications will be carefully selected on the quality of their submission. We aim to bring a variety of fields, price points and makers to our audiences. Due to the amount of applications we receive, we are unable to accept all applications and give direct feedback to each individual entry. We do hold a reserve list if spaces become available.
