Eco-Anxiety Download is a new meditation by Dudley commissioned by young Nottingham artists; E. Quinn, Alex Gwyn Davies, Robin Pierce and Lucy Morris.

New updates available for your body. Welcome terror, anxiety and the vague future. Concern. Shock. Regret. Guilt. Grief. Discomfort. Nausea. Fright. Come in! Do! Overwhelm, Sorrow and stress. Join us as we face our own barriers to eco anxiety that block us. The dread and fear attached to the knowledge of seemingly inevitable collapse. But don’t worry about the future, it doesn’t actually exist, it’s an invention of the mind, there is only now, today! So let’s be here, where we are, with the anxiety, here, where we can take a peek at reality. Here where we can be with each other! And do some of the work to move into acceptance and finally action. Allow a humble Christmas tree to welcome you into the present. Uncovering the primordial wisdom and generosity of a discarded plant.

Below are some behind the scenes photos of the process;

A group of people entering an elevator with a Christmas tree
Two people standing outside of elevator doors with a Christmas tree on a trolley
Five people standing in an elevator with a Christmas tree
Two people sat on bean bags around a Christmas tree
Three people sitting on bean bags around a Christmas tree

Also here are reflections written by the 1525 members, in response to the meditation and an engaging discussion around eco-anxiety.
