Wills and Legacies
Remembering us in your Will
We aim to imagine the world differently.
Contemporary art is uniquely placed to both challenge and inspire. We work with many organisations to open new avenues of thought – and to change individual life-courses. We are a welcoming space in the heart of the city where everyone can enjoy international contemporary art – and creative reflection – for free.
By leaving us a gift in your Will, you can help us to continue our vital work bringing contemporary art, and all the learning opportunities it offers, to audiences of all ages and backgrounds. Your gift would be a highly valued contribution to Nottingham Contemporary’s core mission - international art, for everyone, for free. Everything you give would directly benefit fellow art lovers, future generations of aspiring artists, and learners of all ages for years to come.
Anyone can leave a gift, and no matter how big or small the amount, you can be sure your generosity will make a difference.
How to remember us
There are a number of ways you can choose to leave a gift in your will, including:
- Pecuniary: a fixed amount of money
- Specific: a particular named item
- Residuary: the sum left over after all other costs have been deducted, for instance, funeral expenses
- Reversionary: a gift to a loved one for use during his or her lifetime which can then be passed on to a specified charity after this time
If you have already made a will, you can still leave a gift by adding an amendment known as a codicil.
All enquiries are without any obligation, and will be treated in the strictest confidence.
If you decide to include a gift in your will to Nottingham Contemporary, it would be very helpful if you could let us know so that we can plan for the future, and take the time to thank you.
