Our Partners

& People We've Worked With

We strive to build sustainable partnerships and create a better unison between our gallery and other youth sector services throughout Nottingham.

Since the start of our programme we have built and sustained positive relationships with many local youth and community groups, arts organisations, schools, colleges and universities

One of our recurrent partnerships is Nottingham Refugee Forum. In 2016 we worked in collaboration with a large group of young refugees and Artist Hetain Patel to create a multi screen video piece which showed young people sharing their journeys.  The films were shown at Nottingham Contemporary as part of the Refugee Week launch.

Included in our partnerships we also work with Crocus Fields, a rest bite service for young people with learning differences, most of whom are non-verbal. Artist Sam Metz, has worked with the young people from Crocus Fields, who are practitioners in their own right, to develop their skills and responses to artwork in our main gallery spaces. Our collective and Crocus Fields worked alongside each other for the first time in 2016 and created collaborative work together at Backlit Gallery, Nottingham.

People we’ve also worked with include:
