Film Screening: The Diary of a Teenage Girl

Set in 1970s San Francisco we follow our 15-year hero Minnie. Through her diary she chronicles her socially defying sexual exploits, creativity and attitude with humour, boldness, honesty and grit. The film is introduced by Dr. Katharine Jenkins (University of Nottingham) and Reel Equality Film Club discussing sex, sexuality and the importance of pleasure in dialogue around sexual expression.
