South African-born novelist Gillian Slovo in conversation with Ross Bradshaw from Five Leaves Bookshop.
Slovo's writing ranges from crime fiction to a memoir of her South African Communist parents. Her drama Red Dust was filmed and Guantanamo staged internationally. Her latest book Ten Days is a political drama set during London riots. During the evening Slovo will read extracts from Ten Days, other works and will be showing extracts from her films and plays.
