David Batchelor is an artist and writer based in London. He makes three-dimensional works, photographs and drawings and paintings that relate to a long term interest in colour and urbanism.

Thomas Dane is a graduate in Art History from UCL. In addition to working on important collections in the UK and abroad, such as the Monsoon Collection in London or the Daskalopoulos Collection in Greece, he supported and organised a number of art projects and commissions.

Ann Priest was until August 2015 Pro Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs and Head of College for Art, Design and Built Environment at Nottingham Trent University, a post which she held since 2009 following two years at NTU as Dean of Art and Design.

Paul Roberts OBE is Chair of the Innovation Unit board of directors. This draws on his extensive experience and understanding of local government. He was Director of Strategy and subsequently Managing Director of the Improvement and Development Agency (IDeA) for local government.

Dr Simon Baker is Senior Curator, International Art (Photography), at Tate. Prior to becoming Tate’s first curator of photography in 2009 he was Associate Professor of Art History at the University of Nottingham, where he specialised in surrealism, photography and contemporary art.

Jane Todd, OBE, DL, Hon Dr Jane has worked at local, regional, and national levels. Her roles have included Regional Director at GOEM and Chief Executive at Nottingham City Council. She is currently Chair of Small Steps Big Change and Opportunity Nottingham - two lottery funded programmes totalling £55 million plus. 

 

Susan Greenaway was born in, and has spent most of her life in, the City of Nottingham.  After training to be a school teacher at Edge Hill University in the 1970s she has spent all of her working life in primary and higher education.

Chris Jagger is a Chartered Engineer and is the Chief Estates & Facilities Officer for the University of Nottingham. Chris has had a career in construction project development and facilities management services including working overseas in the Middle East and Asia.
